Wood Green, London -
Client required planning permission to install External Wall Insulation onto a semi-detached property in a conservation area. The client reached out to Planning4You for advice, existing and proposed elevation and floorplan drawings.
The project aimed to provide insulation for the properties solid brick walls, a primary heat loss element of period buildings. Future proofing homes and retrofitting homes is essential given the current fuel poverty and expodential energy prices, however ensuring the project retains the historical character and in keeps with the conservation area and street scene, it where our expertise can help advise, and the production of both heritage and impact statements can support your planning applications:
Bleasby, Nottinghamshire
Client has a property of mixed styles and ages, with period features such as the dentil courses to the roofline and original bay windows and porch. The proposal was to install External Wall Insulation to the original parts of the property however planners were particularly concerned around the impact it would have on the properties character and historic value. The drawings and planning pack included detailed elevation and floorplan drawings showcasing the efforts to retain detail and an in depth impact statement exploring the proposal justification to win over the planning approval.
Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire
The client wished to apply for planning permission to install External Wall Insulation and to carry out significant roof remediation. The project consisted of producing a set of Existing/Proposed Elevation and Floorplan drawings along side writing a heritage statement and submitting a planning application.
